A Population of Selves

A framework for self-inquiry inspired by the book A Population of Selves by Erving Polster.

During the three characteristics month we inquired into the self aspect of our conscious experience, trying to locate the self in our field of sensory perception.

In the incoming session, we will observe the self from another angle, bringing more light to it’s empty contextually dependent nature. With imagination, memory and embodiment to create a container and evoke instances of ourselves in different situations. We will use noting and labelling to distinguish domain-specific characteristics that arise in various conditions.

As usually, the session will include a discussion related to the practice.
