This week we’re going to pick up where we left off last time in the investigation of the relationship between our embodied experience and others. We’ll warm up with a guided silent noting practice in the first meditation. Then we’ll further explore how that experience shows up in the presence of others. We’ll do this through a practice using the role of the witness that was briefly introduced last week. We’ll do this first in groups and then in pairs.
This type of work really makes a difference when it comes to becoming better at deploying the skills we cultivate in meditation as fundamental aspects of embodied life as the socially embedded beings we are.
