We&#8217;ve done this with simple labels (See, Hear, Feel) and more specific ones (Mahasi Sayadaw style (tingling, contentment, coolness, etc.) We&#8217;ve also done the latter socially, sharing our experience in realtime with others. Today we&#8217;re going to employ language, as we do with noting, but to emphasize aspects of experience that often get left out when noting, particularly when noting fast.<br \/><br \/>As we&#8217;ve emphasized before, language isn&#8217;t the enemy of the meditator and today we&#8217;ll explore one of its skillful uses, both in the &#8216;mind&#8217;s ear&#8217; and socially.<br \/><br \/>We&#8217;ll focus on describing our present experience and how it evolves, but doing so relationally rather than in the chopped up way that noting tends to emphasize.
