Five new guided meditations by Teodora

Noting in the space of acceptance

This is a guided noting practice within the field of acceptance. This practice links formless and noting meditation techniques.

Making Space Cognisant 1 and 2

In this guided meditation, we create a spacious container of attention using the metaphor of a substance, something that fills up space, and envelops us like mist or water, honey, etc. The mediation guides us to observe how each part of that space is cognisant of its own qualities and location and all sensations can appear and be as they are.

In the second repetition of this practice, at the end, the meditator is invited to venture into the space of awareness.

Expand the Aperture of Valence

This guided meditation focuses on a particular aspect of our perception – valence or vedanā in Pali. Valence is the interpretation which specifies whether feelings are positive, negative or neutral. This is one of the essential polarities that affects our experience. In this meditation you will be guided towards shining light on that instinctive interpretation and expanding it.

Noticing Caring Moments

In this meditation, we bring our attention to the many situations when we received care or took part in a loving and caring interaction. These simple quotidian experiences can help us be more receptive and open to receiving and acting with care and love towards people and the whole of reality.

“To receive such a simple wish of love quietly opens our minds to an innate wisdom that recognizes the essential goodness of being, the intrinsic goodness of experience itself, the joy of being alive.” – Lama John Makransky, Awakening through Love
